Adam's Hot Wings

My son could easily be called the king of wings. I could be crowned Queen healthy eats. My mission: make wings hed not only enjoy, but didnt make me cringe too much about him eating.

This was the result, in his honor:

Adams Hot Wings

3-5 pound bag of chicken drummettes, with as much skin as possible removed

Big bottle of your favorite hot sauce (I usually use Cholula or Tapatio)

tsp garlic powder

3 C cornflake crumbs (you may need to either add to or throw out some, depending on how many wings you prepare

Pre-heat oven to 425. Line at least 2 large cookie sheets with non-stick aluminum, or line pans and spray with oil.

Place wings in a very large bowl and pour hot sauce over them to coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or even overnight. Stir at least 3 times. Place cornflake crumbs and garlic powder in a Ziploc, place 4-6 wings in the bag at a time to coat. Placing dredged wings onto the sheet pan without touching each other. Bake 20-25 minutes, or until juices run clear and wings are nicely browned.

Serve with traditional sides of celery, carrots and ranch dressing.

Ive also used the same recipe for whole chicken pieces, baking it longer.
